| Rock the Boats––speaks for itself really. I wanted loads of impossible colour and plenty of action. I used half a potato dipped in wild oranges and reds, tipping the hulls this way and that––very messy The water is layered thin washes using wide watercolour brushes, thus creating movement. To me this piece is a very happy one. The title came from a song playing on the radio as I worked. | |||||||||
